Mandy's Gift

"I told you to shut yer mouth!" A whip cracks...

"NO! Do not whip me again! PLEASE STOP! AAAAHAAAAAA!!!!" It cracks again

"You are so disobediant! Keep yer damn mouth  shut already!"

"Mhmmm mmmmmn...."

"Not another sound damn it!" A final whipcrack and a piercing scream fills the night

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

"LUCKY?!? Hey hey! You're okay now!" Mandy Foxbat bursts into the room next door seeing a topless Lucky clutching her chest and rocking back and forth sobbing on the bed.

"Mandy! I was having the dream again!" Lucky sobs. "I still see those mean men! I still feel the painful whip! I thought being in this new world would save me from even memories of that place...please Mandy...sleep with me...keep me safe...please..." she hiccuped a few times in her sobbing.

"Sh-sh-sh I'm here...I'm here you'll be okay with me. Mandy blushes as she feels the bunny girl wrap her arms around her...Mandy knows that Lucky sleeps in the nude however it does not bother Mandy one bit as she cuddles up to Lucky trying to give her warmth and comfort. "Hush now...little girl...don't make a sound...I'll be here...to turn that frown upside-down...little girl...don't you see....little girl you are...fa-mi-ly..." Mandy made up the lullaby on the spot. Even though Lucky was roughly in her 20s at this point in time...she was still a frightened little girl. Her experiences on her world damaged her to be very distrusting of people and it had stunted her maturity quite heavily. Mandy then turned to Lucky and wiped her tears. Before falling into a deep sleep Mandy began to think and ponder. "I have to do something for her...tomorrow after breakfast...I hope Kit will be around. For now he may have to take care of Lucky for a couple of days."

The Next Morning...
Mandy cooks some breakfast up and calls up Kit for a favor.

"Hey Kit!"

"Mandy how are you it's been awhile! So do you want me to come over there for a session?"

"Maybe later...hey can you do me a big favor please? It's about Lucky."

"Is something wrong with her?"

"She's been having those nightmares again about Eden."

"Poor girl...what do you need me to do?"

"Watch her for a couple of days if you can. I cannot rely on your friend Rin for this."

"Well luckily for you I am taking a few days off. I can watch her."

"Thank you Kit! I owe you one...I'm flying out tomorrow to Texas to see a good friend."

"You mean GC?"

"Yeah. That's him"

"Alright then I wish you luck and I'll catch you when you get back. Send Lucky over tonight so you can get ready."

"Thank you so much again really." Mandy hangs up the phone and can hear the sound of large bunny girl feet coming her way. "Lucky...we talked about walking around the house naked...one day we might get more people who might stay here. You can sleep naked if you want but just do not walk around the house naked okay?"

"Sorry I will get dressed soon. Just heard you talking about me. I wanted to see what was for breakfast too." Lucky yawns and stretches.

"Listen Lucky...you need to go over to Kit's tonight...he'll leave the door open for you."

"Why?"

"I am going away for a couple of days. Kit promised to look after you while I'm gone."

"Okay...Kit makes me feel safe so that is fine with me.." Lucky smiles softly reassured that she is  going to be staying with her the person who saved her life. "I will get dressed now!" She has a happy hop in her step as she goes upstairs. Mandy sighs with relief then after her and Lucky eat she makes preperations to leave while Lucky goes over to Kit's.

After the flight.

GC is in his home and hears a knock on his door. He looks through the peephole and is happy to see a good friend at the door.

"Mandy! Hey it's been awhile what brings you down here?"

"Well I came to spend a bit of time with you but I also want your help with something." Mandy looks down and GC gets a look of sadness of his own.

"What's wrong Mandy?"

"Look...I actually want your help. It's about Lucky. I want to find something for her to sleep with at night to help her feel secure...think you can help me with that? I don't mind sleeping with her but I think it will help her feel better. And I felt like you were the one person I could look to for help with this" Her statement caused GC to blush.

"I see...yeah I can help you do that, It would mean a lot to Lucky if you did." GC smiled and gave her a hug.

"I worry about Lucky. I hope to one day get her trust back into people."

"I understand Mandy. Tell you what, you and I will go out and look for something for her. Here you can have my bedroom tonight"

"Thanks GC," She smiles and before heading back to the bedroom gives him a small grateful peck on the cheek causing him to blush.

The next day.
GC leads Mandy around and goes into a toy store looking for a stuffed animal to give to her.

"Hey think this teddy bear will work for her?" Mandy asks.

"Or how about this stuffed rabbit?" GC replies.

"Nah, too obvious...it might not be a good idea..."

"Hmm...oh look there's a stuffed fox over there."

"Really? Awesome,you're right! If she has that...Lucky might think of Kit every night he's not around. Good thinking GC!" She gives him another hug and the two go to the checkout counter. For two more days, Mandy stays at GC's place hanging out, exploring, and has the occasional tease and foot rub sessions with GC. It would be that follwing 3rd day she'd return back to Lucky. "Kit...I'm coming home...please stay at the house you got for us and I'll meet you there soon."

When she returns. Kit opens the door letting her inside.

"Welcome home Mandy."

"Good to be back foxy friend...now where's Lucky?"

"Here I am good to see you Mandy!" She looks at Mandy's hand and notices a small bag. "What do you have in hands?" Lucky looks curiously at the bag.

"It's for you, Lucky...a very special friend helped me get you a little surprise."
Lucky slowly walks forward her hands over her mouth. Tears begin to form and she begins to cry.

"Lucky..." Kit says softly.

"You didn't even open it yet."

"B-but...I...you..." She looks into the bag then tackles Mandy to the ground sobbing happily. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! NO ONE EVER DID ANYTHING NICE FOR LUCKY UNTIL I MET YOU AND KIT!!! Aaaaaahaaaa!!! I LOVE YOUR GIFT!!!" She hugs Mandy tight still crying happily.

"I thought it would be good for you to have something to hold onto at night so you don't get as scared."

"Thank you Mandy, I will treasure this always...you and Kit nicest people I have ever met..."

"I had a little help from GC...you remember him?"

"Yeah...he very nice too...okay he's one of nicest people I ever met too." Lucky clutches the small stuffed fox to her chest holding on never wanting to let go

That night Lucky slept peacefully her new little fox toy cuddled in her arms when she got scared. Mandy did stay in the room all night with her but watching sitting underneath the moonlit window.
